OK Brent, thanks for helping. I am at the office now but I will use my lunch time to setup the new gallery and post threads in Sony and Canon forums. So I think everything is going to be ready in an hour or at least two.

No need to wait for Martin Daniel. If you click on the "challenges" button the site should ask you (the current winner) if you want to setup a new gallery. It's really quite easy once you have at it and shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes. Once the gallery is up, go to the "information" button and it will give you all the text you need to paste into the challenge thread at DPReview. The first line of that text also makes a great subject line for the challenge thread. You may want to just insert your topic in that line though and people will recognize it as a new challenge from that if they don't remember the number of the last one. Have fun!

Phew...now I feel better :-) . ... I think you are able to start straight away, when Ernest won, he asked Martin just to help him, as he was not sure about what to do. Unfortunately he is in Hong Kong so I cannot check with him.

Ha ha ha Jill you know I was kidding, thanks for your very kind words :-)!. Brent: give for sure I will take in mind your suggestion. By the way: Does anyone know if I must wait an OK from Martin to start the new Challenge?.

Daniel...Wow I do not want to be responsible for your wife's anger!!! ( just buy her a bunch of flowers) I said the Canon guys were wonderful......are you not a Sony guy.....tell her 'Very sorry'... but I still thought your participation was very good from a commenting point of veiw. ( Glad I live very far away :-) )...or was it something else that I said !!

Congratulations Daniel on a well deserved win. Excellent choice on your Topaz prize too- good for you. Sorry to add to the pressure, take your time, but please pick us a nice new topic that everyone will find good opportunities to shoot for :-)

Thanks folks!. Now I am in trouble: First the kid on the right in my winning shot is my son. So he said: "dad you have won because of me, so I want my part". Second my wife got very anger after reading what Jill wrote. She said: "this is not the man I have to stand every day at home". And third I won the hard task to find a new topid having in mind rodbam could say "another silly one". I canŽt stand such a pressure, climbing the Everest would be easier, so I hope God shows me the right way...
Penny as you know I own just one camera: Sony DSC-H2. It has a very small sensor so it delivers a very poor quality beyond ISO 300, so IŽll give Topaz Denoise a try. I have NoiseNinja and it works very well but I think Topaz Denoise is more friendly.

Congratulations Daniel on the win, the great picture of love (hope it continues that way), and the new Topaz product - which one are you picking?? Okay, so now for something new.... what will it be?

Well done Daniel that was a terrific picy mate & well deserved to win. Now you have to pick out a Topaz Product, I'm very jealous:-) AND you have to pick a new topic, hopefully something manly & related to photography.

Congratulations Daniel...great win. I am so happy that you will now get the programme that you are so badly wanting. I also want to just add what a great group the Canon guys are, you are on the ball with your comments and support for everyone, a real inspiration and act to follow.

Three bloody routers replaced this year! The more I pay for them, the quicker they croak during a lightning storm! So, seeing as I was offline for 4 days straight, I had a chance to polish up that gallery app. Troy, Brent, and others who may be interested in grabbing a copy, take a look: [link] ... quite a few 'behind the scenes' things got added plus a shopping cart function is now built in and working nicely. It can process orders manually or just plug in your paypal "buy button" code and away you go! Originally there was also an online help popup menu but now the app sort of guides visitors to where they want to go with little text hints when a button is hovered on... much more elegant I think. Within the week it should be a final product so whoever wants a gratis copy, lemme know!
FYI: it runs on windows server with php/apache/sqlite except for one little line that has to be removed from the source otherwise it displays an error (but functions correctly).

Hope you have a great time Debi. Geez Christakis's linky to the shutter action movie is interesting a, well for blokes anyhow. I never realised the battering the mirror & shutter curtain get. Just imaging the forces at play at 6 or 8 frames a sec

Are things getting back to near normal after the tsunami which I think affected one or two of the areas you're going to. Don't forget you have a free hotel at our place Debi if you come to Brissie.

Debi, been wanting to go to Sri Lanka for ages but never had a chance. Please let us know your experience there after you go, especially how things are after the civil war is over.

Down Under is full of foreigners too. I was thinking about it for this year but was a bit too expensive for my budget. Soon I HOPE.

There must be a calculator in your pc too, mine does. I was planning to go to Slovenia this year in May but work came in the way. May be next year. Am going to Sri Lanka this November.

We drove through Slovakia on our way from Hungary to Poland and I even bought a little souvenir at the border gift shop. I'd sure like to visit Martin's area in Slovenia too as the pictures he has shown to us here in the challenges are beautiful. He sure does travel around a lot - maybe he's been kicked out of all those countries for some sinister reason - probably bad calculators! ;-)

Martin is part foreign Carole & he lives in Canada, Peru & Slovakia. He just keeps ahead of the debt collectors or isit past wives:-)

I can figure out the shutter speed but I'm too lazy so I would appreciate it in a form I can more easily understand too. Does Martin have to go all the way to Slovakia to sell his calculators? Maybe there aren't enough people in Slovenia to buy them all? ;-)
