They appear to be swimming in blue ink :) Beautiful, regardless.

Sorry about mixing you up wiv MC, Moti. MC has a habit of borrowing tourists cameras & seeing the 5D2 was used here I thought he must have met some upmarket tourists. He does sell them on quite cheaply though:-)
I hope you included this picy in the bride & grooms wedding album as they would luv this a.

Beautifully judged exposure for the purpose. But you have already explained that. (What less to expect from a professional.) Yes Rod's comments can be a bit oblique but well intended toward artistic content.

Thank you very much guys for your kind comments. This photo was shot during a wedding photography session where I was waiting for my assistant to pose the couple on a bridge over this lake, which by an amazing coincidence is called the lake of love. When I spotted these swans getting close to each other, I quickly changed my settings and waited for the perfect moment. I was lucky.

Brent: I noticed that Rod is not always focused but I take it as a compliment. I really like MC's work, he is a very good and talented photographer.

christakis: That wasn't little light. The photo was taken in very bright sunlight but in order to preserve the details of the white feathers, I had to expose for highlights so the background came out very dark.

John: The R1 wouldn't be of any good for me in situations like this. In spite of it's sharp lens, it is much too slow and not responsive enough for my shooting requirements.

I wouldn't like to be a swan. I've been watching them in Donghu Park. They spend an inordinate amount of time preening. If you see a row of swans, it's just like peeking into a beauty parlour the day before the Queen's wedding. Then we are supposed to admire them in a shot like this, but it's all artifice, you know. They are just pumped up ducks.
The reflection here is very nice, but I can't help thinking that you would have gotten a nicer shade of purple with a Sony camera. Try your R1 next time, Moti. :)

Lovely image Moti! The swans posed perfectly for you - they must have know the topic! Very well taken and your PP looks great - wonderful reflection and colors too.

How the hell do you guys manage to get such nice images with such a low ISO and so little light? Extremely well done mate! This looks like it was taken out of a Disney fairytale. I love the reflection in the water and the colours (and I dont care if its manly or not).

Rod seems to have you confused with MCSaba Moti. Not a bad think as MC does some pretty nice work, but I would give Rod a good thrashing anyway ;-)
You have caught these swans in a perfect pose for the topic, very nicely done.

Nice reflection and the necks make a very appropriate heart shape

The swans are very manly but the water looks a bit girly but. Nice picy for this silly topic MC well done mate.
How do you like your new camera? Must have had some rich tourists come through a:-)
