Thanks all for your comments. This is my daughter indeed :-) I was only taking a few casual pictures of her at the park and one of them really came out great. Was taking some risks with the sand so near to the lens...

Excellent picy mate. I normally like to see a richer tonal range in B&W picys from a rich black up through to white but your sort of middle grey approach really seems to suit the two picys posted. Nicely done.

Sweet looking little girl! This must be your daughter judging by the look of love in her eyes. Is she offering you a mud pie? :-) Nice side lighting, perfect DOF to highlight those beautiful eyes, and I like the soft look to your B&W conversion.
