Well Molly, me girl, you are exquisite...can't even see if you are peeping at the camera.....so glad to make your acquaintance. Stunning pic.

The words always come spilling out in the evening after a few margeritas, but don't look so good the next day.

Its a beautiful picture though the BHs are a bit distracting. Is it my monitor ( damn)?

Oops I didn't see my little Carole down there....Stand up woman when you talk to me:-) I'm almost dreading getting the 7D now in case it isn't as good as the 40D:-)
How's your road trip going Carole?

I hate you always being right Penny. Can you thank Tommy for me:-) He has a wonderful way with words & I bet he has no trouble sweet talking to you when he's in trouble a:-)
I bet he has trouble thinking of something to say on my next picy:-)
 (17/10/2009 @ 00:00:38 EDT)
see, I told you.

It's good to see some really creative work now and then in these challenges. The close framing of the dog in its immediate environment limits the information we need to understand the exact situation - which gives it a tantilizingly ambiguous context that belies the title or at least questions it. The arching lines of fabric and directional lighting provide dynamics amplifying the action of the dogs hair curling around as if wind-whipped. Or maybe it's all a contradiction of the actual circumstance. Visually, with such a full range of tones and detail, who cares. It tickles the eyes, which is what really counts.

I know you love Molly, and who wouldn't, she's such a cutie. I'm glad you mentioned the hand as I didn't notice it but I did guess that this was you lap! Great textures in the fur and your clothes and the B&W conversion turned out really well.

Make that your last look Penny as this picy goes downhill rapidly after two looks:-) Thanks megirl.

Second look. I like this even more. Great textures, sharp ball of fluff. Nice light and shadows.

Thanks Daniel:-) I did try & lighten my hand more so it would be more obvious this was my lap but the artefacts in the shadows looked terrible. I would tell Molly you like her nose Daniel but I think she must be foreign as she doesn't understand a word I say:-)

I like the way you have managed shadows and highlights here. I also like the different textures in this shot. Nice nose Molly!. Daniel.

Thanks Penny & Etna:-) I saw Molly laying on the outside couch & went & got my camera. This was a real bugger as I had to try & lock the exposure & using the self timer hold the camera with my right hand & focus & click with my left hand. Then I had 10secs to settle the dog. This is the second shot as I gave up after that as both me & Molly lost interest:-)
