I can feel the heat. Always enjoy good fire shots, this one works for me. Good to see the Sony flag flying high, well done.

Thank you all very much for your comments!!!
Dear aam1234, with a SONY camera you can take pictures like this or even better!!! ;-)
Dear kiki 2, I live in Buenos Aires city, Argentine (South America), where always "fireplace season" is, because we used to grill a lot!!! The pic was taken at my mother-in-law house and was only the beginning of a great argentinian "asado" (meat grill)!!!

Nicely composed and perfectly exposed; what's more to ask for? Beautiful image.

Great looking fire shot and the title suits it perfectly. I never get good fire shots like this and this one could be in a magazine selling stoves or fireplaces! Well done EFG!

It's beautiful. It would be nice to hang it in the bathroom. The bathroom is always so cold in winter.

Fire is such a comfortable thing to look at. It may be the reason young children automatically want to touch it. It seems strange though that something so potentially destructive is such a comforting thing to view.

I find that fire pictures are some of the easiest to shoot but nevertheless they always work. I have a soft-spot for pics like this. So simple yet never two the same.

That looks very, very hot. Good pic. Where on the planet are you? Our fireplace season is still a month or so away. (southern Norway)

I like the red hot fire gradually disappearing into the darkness. Nicely exposed

Well you can buy them for a song Aamm:-)
 (22/10/2009 @ 02:07:53 EDT)
I meant a "Sony" not "song" :)
 (22/10/2009 @ 02:00:45 EDT)
A Song can give such a good exposure? Hmmm (kidding kidding). This is really nice, EFG.

very cool, almost an abstract. I really like this, particularly the orientation.

Rod said it already as he usually does. I agree with what he said. Well done difficult exposure.

Terrific exposure Efing as lots of people get blown highlights in fire picys. The colour range down into the fire is excellent. Great picy mate.
