Very good idea, and well taken!

V ery nicely seen and taken, Tom! Quite the contrast.

This is exactly what I loved about NYC when we visited there for the first time earlier this year - the mix of old and new arthitecture, all contrasting - yet blending well in some strange way.

This is a really great shot for the topic Tom! I like the contrasts in architecture as well as tones that really emphasizes the Opposites. Well done! :-)

It's great. The only thing I've ever seen like it, is in some movies where they mix real life and cartoons. It's like you can drive down this street and go into cartoon land.

A nice viewpoint Tom. I am more comfortable standing here and on the other side looking this way. They have done a nice job of preservation.

Yes, interesting contrast of old to new Tommy. An old classic car instead of a modern hybrid going down the street would have been the icing on the cake I think. Nice work.

Thanks guys and Debi too. This is a historical Fulton Fish Market area well preserved and looking south to the financial district of new glossy construction appropriate for Wall St excesses of our age. No photoshopping either - its the real thing.

This reminds me of the bright light we see when we die pointing the way to the promised land. I'm not sure if God intended the promised land to be quite like NY though:-)
Excellent juxtaposition of the old & the new reinforced by the differences in the light. Itsa goodun Tommy, well done.
