The motion blur really works here with the colorful backdrop.

Thanks! Ivan, these doors are decorated for the theatre inside, but I don't remember which show.

It's all been said below. Great picture indeed, very interesting and perfect for the topic with so many opposites.
Is that the new "I'm a PC and I'm a Mac" ad from Apple? ;-) ...(hum, now I am thinking....)
Nice work!

Wow, what a backdrop for the rushed, drearily dressed pedestrians. Nicely done!

Great timing Penny, to get the people all in step like the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace! Nice colorful image too.

The blurred figures moving in front of the sharp background is creative. Lots of opposites. High marks.

Perfect timing. I do believe you had to stand there quite a while to get this.

Nice shot Penny, perfectly in topic. I like the colors and the people moving in opposite directions. Daniel.

The effect use of motion blur is perfect to enforce the direction of their movement.

thanks Debi and Rod. What I will say is that I stood there (on the other side of the street) taking picy trying to get people in front of both panels with noone in the middle. I think maybe they saw me and they started walking faster.

This has opposites all over the place & just look at how their feet are in almost exact lockstep which really makes the picy jump out at me. They're even framed by being in opposite sides of the doors. Even the bleeding vertical colour graphics on the doors are going in opposite directions.
I don't believe anyone could get such a perfect shot for the topic as this a. Penny has obviously built a montage from 5 or 6 picys & combined them into one shot just to intimidate us all. Well it didn't work Penny, us blokes don't scare that easily:-)

Nice splashy color Penny and some attention to composition too I see. But what makes it for me is that frozen shoe on the right is the only thing that stands out as sharp- neat effect.
