Yes!. They remove dirt and mushrooms on the metalic surfaces before fix or paint them, using powerful water guns (hidrowashing).

Nicely done scene with lots of interest Daniel. One of your DB images really exhibits how big this massive ship is. Removing mushrooms? Really?

Tommy I have the tendency to crop my images in a 4x3 format because I like it. But you are right, the left side of this image doesn´t add too much value to the topic...so I gave your suggestion a try, and let the previous version in the drop box. Thanks Tommy for the feedback.

Well captured scene rarely seen. Visually, I think a crop would add power to the central activity I think.

Very interesting industrial scene Daniel. I like how you framed the men with that huge ship and the other elements in the picture. The splashing water is a bonus!

I also would like to see in person! (I got use of my 12X native zoom).

Thanks, Daniel; that is just too cool! I would love to see this in person!

I'm with Helen. This is a sight that many of us don't often, or ever, get to see. -Doug

Thanks for commenting. Yes Helen, this is a dry dock. They were using "hidrowashing" to remove mushrooms in the metalic surfaces. Waterdrops can be seen in the air. I put another image in the drop box for you.

Is this a dry dock? I've always wondered what ships look like out of the water! I like the gigantic vessels dwarfing the men and the "work-day" business to it. Nicely seen and captured!

Like how you framed the focal point (men) with the various elements. Very nice.

Nicely done Daniel, this is a busy that works very well. All I smell here is hard work. I know I know a couple of the blokes are just standing there wiv their hands in their pockets but it's hard work just turning up for work init:-)

Excellent job with the light and I love the busy-ness.
This really appeals to my senses - if I try really hard maybe I can even smell fish.
