Love that red! Everything seems to work here, the lighting, colors, expressions and the pose of the model. Good one RK!

Your friend will be more than happy with shots this good a.

Thanks all.
Rod, felt the same... the B&W seemed to show the light more and reduce the distractions.
Doug, didn't have seat... was kneeling down below the runway, as the video/tv guy wanted a clear view. This was pro bono, a friend of mine was organizing the show, she ran out of money for a pro photog and called me in the last minute. I was more than happy to oblige.

The red looks great and stands out well. You had some good seats for the show. -Doug

It's the shoes. I will confess that I'm in love with the way the feet hit the stage in those sparkly shoes.
I didn't get that in B/W.

As a general shot the colour does look better but I think the colour one now incorporates more elements into the picy like the other model, ceiling, coloured lights at her feet & the two other audience members. The B&W I think homed in the the bloke at left looking up & the model. Our brains do like colour though a, plenty of it:-)

I prefer the colors (including the red). Nice shot/perspective.

If you wanted to turn this into really different picture, you could have the girl, dress, shoes, and the man's face in color and every thing else B&W. This is what they are doing on FaceBook these days to make their postage stamps Pop. I sure do like the red color of her dress in the color one.

Yes the colour one does pop a but this B&W one really puts the attention on the model. The bloke looking up is really good too. Nice one RK.
