Departing Roadtown, Tortola onboard Noordam, the rain was streaking the sunlight hitting the starboard side of the ship

Thank you all - comments appreciated. This was actually my own favorite shot from my trip - and though i didn't know about the sidelighting theme until I got back, I was very specifically shooting for the sidelight in this one. It is a single shot, not HDR - it looked that powerful in person, and I was happy it worked out that way in the shot too. Very minor post - I think just touchup to the saturation a bit to pop color back in as the light was harsh.

Great shot Justin, the sun rays shining through the clouds make the shot IMO, I also like how the wet boards on the ship reflect the clouds above.

Very atmospheric, like all the leading lines.

Terrific shot - a little of the best of everything. Lucky you.

I quite like your entire series, Justin, but this is my favorite -- the light and sky are outstanding, but I particularly like the reflection in the wet deck.

Justin, this is wonderful in the tonal colours that you have captured. So much to enjoy and assimilate.

As impressive as the deck reflecting the clouds in the sky is, I like that you were able to capture the sky lighting on the center of the ship putting this right on topic. Being in the right place at the right time is one thing but being able to capture it in its entirety is another. Excellent.

This is the easy choice for my favorite of yours. A composition with interest and plenty of action. -Doug
