Very cool...great saturation, composition - I like the addition of the blurred car, and the light at the end of the tunnel nicely metered against the detail and dynamic range captured inside the tunnel.

great colour all the components fitting in this shot !!

A really cool shot, Brent, and the colors practically scream! Good dynamic range capture, too - especially for a non-HDR shot, which I assume it is.

This has a surprising combination of visual elements which work very well together... Particularly the blurred vehical against the grafitti and otherwise naturalistic background. Somehow this reminds me of Ralph Bakshi's animated movies, especially "Heavy Traffic".

Terrific looking shot Brent! Love the colors, light, and motion of the passing car! Good job taming that light at the end of the tunnel too.

Thanks much all for your very kind comments :-) I'm not the only member who has had a little extra challenge with mostly flat gray days to shoot in. But in some ways I've enjoyed the situation and having to hunt where I normally wouldn't have thought to.

my eye was initially attracted to the light at the end of the tunnel, then I noticed the motion blur of the car, that blur is really fascinating.

what Rod said. I like the bit of motion in the bottom corner.

Wow. I can't add another thing to what everyone has already said.

Really excellent shot Brent & well done on exposing the inside & not blowing the outside. The picy seems over saturated down here but it still works. Nicely done mate.

Good to see that light at the end of a tunnel is not an oncoming train :-) Interesting colours, a semi HDR feel, I like it.

Yes Brent. Way to bring us light at the end of the tunnel. -Doug

Wow, great shot Brent. I was suspecting you would be surprising us at the last minute. There's just many things I love in this shot. I love the speed and the energy from the car, the colorful paintings on the wall, the autumn leaves and the sensation of depth created by the tunnel. All of these elements together create a very rich and dynamic scene, and proves you can still capture wonderful outdoor pictures despite the sucky weather here in Seattle. Well done!

Brent, wow this is wonderful. The Autumn colours of both the leaves and the paintings, with the stunning bright foreground. I find my eye roving to see all the detail that is available, especially with the car just leaving....then the light. Great capture.
