Wow, this is super! Fabulous light and luscious shadow.

Fantastic use of side-light and specifically of capturing the light reflected image as well as the subject. Nice composition for the scene, playing the angle very nicely.

In the thumb, I was thinking this was a piece of green plastic hose, bent at the end, but as a ful-size image, it looks great. The long, green shadow really makes the shot!

Beautiful vibrant image, crazy the way the color spreads so vivid into the background. Great work.

Gawd the background looks very good & I'm relieved I really like this as you could have said "gotcha you ole bugger this is all in colour" If I complained about the partial desat a :-)

Thanks all for the kind comments. Rod, unlike the dog shot, this was a natural form of select color, only the grain was added in PP.

I wouldn't have though you would get such extremes of translucence. I too like the grain.

Well Steve, when I saw the thumbnail, I just knew this was your creative shot. You have managed to capture great light, combined with wonderful colour..with the minimum of props. Great. BTW good luck with your new cam.

Now this looks like a partial desat that works a:-) I love the look of the grain & you have really made a terrific picy out of not much at all, that's the ahrt of creative seeing. Well done Steve.
