This 67.5 ft tall Giraffe sculpture marks the entrance to the Dallas Zoo and can be seen from a long way down the freeway. With this magnificent storm sky rolling in, Theresa knew immediately why I was changing 4 lanes to get off the freeway. She also waited patiently, prepared to explain to Zoo security why the roadster was pulled over at the entrance. Fortunately I got back to the car before their little golf cart drove up.

The d-b also has a more on topic shot but I liked this silh

There is definitely no excuse for missing the zoo turning. Interesting & unusual shot

Well John, that was a wonderful capture, the silhouette against those magnificent clouds really make the scene so life-like. Well done.

The other picture in the drop box is the scene that got me to fight 4 lanes to get off the freeway, but in the end I liked this silhouette better. The second picture is from where we were returning, the historic downtown district of Waxahachie, Tx, south of Dallas. I included it because it has side light but with outrageous anachronisms offsetting its old peaceful feel.
