Very nice Penny! Like others, it's the light that really makes this image work for me. Excellent work.

Nice composition and the PP looks great! Love the sunlight streaming down from the skylight. It was nice to have taken this close to noon as even the light is symmetrical! ;-)

This was inside St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans, Debi.
And Rod - there are no gangsters there, only soulsters.

A modern piece! I know the organ can play the lowest of notes so I hope it wasn't a gangster rap tune a.

thanks for the comments and yes, he was practicing while we were there - it was a modern piece, something I never heard before, but what a great sound that organ has in such a place.

That lighting is outstanding, and a lovely composition as well.

Look at the light, it's one of the miracles of photography how we learn to see the beauty of light & most people take it for granted & don't really see it. The silhouette of the organ player dwarfed by the surroundings looks just great mate. Excellent picy Penny.

I love pipe organs. Did you get to hear this play? I'm sure the angels were colorful but I like the the different curves and lines in this picture.
