thanks for the comments and yes, he was practicing while we were there - it was a modern piece, something I never heard before, but what a great sound that organ has in such a place.

That lighting is outstanding, and a lovely composition as well.

Look at the light, it's one of the miracles of photography how we learn to see the beauty of light & most people take it for granted & don't really see it. The silhouette of the organ player dwarfed by the surroundings looks just great mate. Excellent picy Penny.

I love pipe organs. Did you get to hear this play? I'm sure the angels were colorful but I like the the different curves and lines in this picture.
