Sorry, pic looks a little rough at the moment, it was originally 800px wide but wanted to test the new 1000px limit and didn't have the original copy of this on hand so I upsampled the 800px version...

Lovely classic bike-shot. I agree with debi.. wish this was mine lol. I've tried bikes now and then but nothing came out anything vaguely resemblant of this. The background and formation of those leaves is terrific.

I think the B&W would work just as well if not better than the colour if the PP wasn't so contrasty. The leaves look blown in the B&Ws attracting too much attention & the graduations in the peeling walls are lost.

A real eye popper! Luv it. The leaves and the poster really work in the color version. The others "only" focus on the bike too much.

Its the color of the leaves that draws me in. Great processing Martin.

You're just trying to derail this award winning shot from getting its fair share of votes, aren't ya, Rod? ;)
Agree that the colors are pretty rich and in fact this was taken on a very dull day so the raw file even is pretty gray by default, but I ended up being intrigued over the green/gray/green pattern.

Yes, very Tommylike, Aam... if it wasn't for the football helmet, I would've wagered it was Tom ;)

I don't know mate, I kind of like the leaves and their color, they add warmth to an otherwise cold and abandoned place. Do I sound like Tom yet :)

The colour of the leaves is a bit overpowering but the picys a real goodun.

Thanks Aam. I like processing for high contrast too, in this one I prematurely prepped for a b&w image... I ended up really liking the colors here so I left it like this except it was already processed for contrast as a b&w.

From the thumb I thought it was Debi's entry (she likes high contrast it seems). Good one, Martin.
