Interesting shot showing the amazing colours and lines, when it may be an item or view which is usually taken for granted.

Super abstract! Love the crop and light and the tinge of color. I would have guessed a food mill ;-)

Thank you Jill :) Perhaps I simply misunderstood the entire topic lol. With winter drawing close in the north, I was expecting a lot more clockwork macros etc.

Thank You Debi and lol Doug. What have I done. Remember to tell her it's a Miele! Not sure about vacuum cleaners, but there are indications some classify them as boy-toys.

So it IS a girl toy! My wife has had me snowed for years but now I have it in writing. Is our Dyson a girl toy too? -Doug

Liked the thought behind the title - its APT and the pic is as abstract as it gets

Thank you, Franky and Ernest. :) It's the inside of a laundry/drying machine, and the title was half ironic since it does resemble something inexplicably boy-toy'ish.
Penny, I suddenly remembered your splendid SP in a piece of small honeycomb shaped glass tiles.. at the MOMA I believe. Were you thinking of reflections?

A great shot. Don't know what it is, but the shot works. well done.

Always wanted to know what is inside a rocket engine! Thought this would be boy's passion too ... Cool shot!

Thank you, guys. It is a little empty but I don't trust the weather sealing enough to send the 7D in there for an action shot on its own. Tried a towel for decoration, but he flash made he shadows harsh. The orange tint is simply ambient lamp-light, see exif.
I should have included a few more millimeters to the left; is that what you mean Penny? Or would you prefer to see some/all of the casing?
Christakis: Congrats with the 7D :)) I remember you were thinking of an upgrade! Mighty capable and fun camera, a real confidence-boost. They say a better camera doesn't make one a better photographer, and that's true.. but I dare take pictures with the 7D I wouldn't even consider with the old 20D. At ISO 3200 it was as grainy as breakfast cereal.

Great take Kiki, you certainly have thought out the box for this one:-)

The image is great. True it looks new and unused but it just works. I wonder where the orange tint comes from. I see you jumped on the 7D train too... Hope you are having fun with it.

I LOVE the picture and especially the part that doesn't fit into the frame..
And I didn't like the title until I saw it was yours.
I guess I don't communicate well.

As a bloke of the kitchen I luv the look of this. The only problem which shows your lack house working ethics is this looks unused, I can't see any lint or parts of wet tissues that were left in the pockets or even from bras that needed extra padding.
The stainless steel & lighting look so manly I think you must have scanned this in out of the brochure:-) If you really did take this then all I can say is.......................bugger off, I want to win this challenge.

So you don't like the title, but you don't like the image either? lol. Kind of balances out then. It's just a snapshot, perhaps I should make a more serious effort. The laundry machine isn't going anywhere soon.

just as I was about to say that I don't like the title......
too bad it doesn't all fit in the picture.
