An unusual view from the metropolitan cemetery.

Faced with such an obstacle, my eye is forced to run down the walkway to lead out somewhere ... and this leads further in ... nice on-topic subject. One of my last teams before I retired was making plans for the company if there was a pandemic ... this sets a perspective ... we are not so far from the plight of 1871 today ... as current event in the US like to remind us.

Great abstract Daniel, looks more like a prison.

Wonderful take, Daniel. Love the lighting the perspective through the gap. Interesting facts about the place.

Really nicely done Daniel the exposure & composition are terrific mate. This almost looks prison like but I suppose the dead are incarcerated here in a way a. Way to go.

Thanks Doug for the comment.
JP: Thanks for asking. Believe or not, these rectangles have no function more than decoration. A rare esthetics indeed!. But this cemetery is very old, it was built because of the yellow fever that flagellated Buenos Aires in 1871 (more than 500 bodies cremated a day). The part showed in this shot has more than 60 years old. Niches are in the corridor showed in the center of the image.
