Thanks for the comments guys.

An excellent example of one of the strengths of wide-angle photography - an interesting element in the very near foreground, and lots of interesting background features with an exaggerated near-far distance impression. Lovely image!

I'm sure a lot of young lads would like a poster of this for their bedroom wall.

Very good, the sky is truly a wonderful backdrop.

Sorry to all for the late reply, I've been exceptionally busy with out of town guests. Thanks to all for the comments. I chose black and white for this because it brought out much more depth and allowed an HDR look without it being an HDR.

Nice pair Doug with this technically excellent bw study next to the action shot - each to its own purpose.

As is often proven, sometimes ordinary subjects make for great photographic studies! This is one of them and the processing creates a reminiscing sort of atmosphere!

Great duck shot! ;-) Seriously, this one is excellent and develops a 3D kind of feeling. This could be an advantage over color (without knowing a different version).

Great perspective here, making me wonder what indeed is the story behind the bike sitting on the beach by itself. Lovely conversion, but I too would have liked to see all the color! Sky is stunning as well.

It's like, there's the world, now go out and play in it. Very nice idea and I like the black and white processing very much here.

Yeah this is a great shot Doug, you did a super nice conversion on this one.

Outstanding point of view. But I canīt imagine what was the advantage here in converting to B&W anyway. A terrific sky, a quiet water, the soft sand...blues, greens, whites, yellows...I can imagine all these very nice colours that get togheter very well...but all of these was lost.

I too like the POV and the slight horizon tilt counter to the bike.

I remember this and it's still a good shot!

Ha ha. Strangely enough, I find myself voting for one B&W pic in each challenge.

I don't think Amm has twigged this is in B&W a Dougy. Mind you it's so good one would not stop to think what mode it's in. Ripper of a picy mate.

Yes, I remember this one. This is my favorite from you, Doug. Love it.

Have you printed it yet.
