Thanks Rod, John P, Debi, and John D! John D, he is sort of a clown. This was taken at a comic routine put on by a Western Reenactment group in the old part of a gold mining town.

With his hat pushed up in front like that, he looks like a rodeo clown, doing serious business in a light hearted manner.
