Excellent shot, great composition & colour. I've been there a couple of times & both times its been chucking it down . Great rock formations in the Atlas.

Love the title that says it all....magnificent capture.

Is that dust in the wind? Impressive capture of light and atmosphere.

Very striking image! The setup, color (basically monochromic by nature) is marvelous.

No worries Aamm, I've done some colour funny business on me puter & now this picy is looking very good & not so washed out as before. I hope I'm getting somewhere now.

Rod mate: I thought one of the main beautiful elements of the photo was the color(s), so my immediate reaction was "woho, what is Rod thinking!".

Sorry for the over-reaction :)

Cheers

Dramatic, mystical, beautiful, simple.

Thanks for comments. I tried B&W, but I think colour makes the picture stronger. I have taken thei picture in Morocco (Todra gorge, close to Tenehir). Spend two weeks there last spring. Excelent place for rock climbing.

amazing - where is this?

:-) Aam, I only think B&W because the rocks have a strange look to them as though they have been pulled up from the shadows.
 (01/01/2010 @ 01:00:13 EST)
Absolutely breathtaking. This would be at least 24 inches tall print with the full gallery treatment and hung in a prominent place in my house it it were mine. As good as any I have seen win contests this year. I even like the burn out since it hasn't interfered with any other detail in the shot.

I actually thought it was Petra for a moment there. Same feeling in the long canyon leading into the city (but no paved road there ;-). Stunning image.

B&W? Did you say B&W? Blasphemy!

Nicely done Easy, I wonder if B&W would serve this better or for colour let the rocks & road fall more into shadow territory. Excellent seeing mate.

Wonderful image! It makes me think of Petra, a place I've always wanted to visit, but now I think I should go to Morocco too. :-) That streak of bright sunlight leads the eye into the image and makes me want to see what's around the corner. Excellent image with great composition, tones and textures!

Stunning indeed. Where is this?

I love the picture and the title equally. Excellent composition and use of light.

Wonderful catch! This is a country I've been planning to visit for a couple of years now. Your photo convinces me I have to plan harder :)
