You could have called these "Light" and "Dark", this one being most interesting for the way the light hits the rocks.

Welcome to the challenges :-) Light and texture come to mind for me too when I look at this- love the striations in the rocks.

I like the contrast of very light and very dark here, and I agree that some of the striation in the rocks almost appear to be rays of light, especially in the big rock on the right. Nice work and welcome!

This one is very well done too, I like the way the light plays on the rocks and the textures/patterns of the rocks esp. on the left side seem to be mimicking light rays ;)
