A warm sunday in the city

Great capture, Daniel, and I love the toning.

Thanks Ernest for such a kind compliment. What I can say here is I took 3 shots using +/-1 EV bracket mode thinking of HDR processing was going to be necessary. But I was able to deal with the dinamic range of this image to get an acceptable result just processing the 0 EV shot.

Another great shot. not just theme perfect, but a great story. well done once again. Your H2 Kicks some big A.. :-) (& I am not referring to only the alphas LOL.

Thanks Doug, Ron, and 2 x John for the kind comments. Both of the Johns were right: the trees have grown looking for sunlight, and football is the most popular sport in Argentina. Here a football ball is probably one of the prefered toys a boy gets.

What's the matter with you people? Can't anyone spell treas? It's all about football in Argentina, isn't it Daniel? Tevez is doing well since he switched to the blue side of Manchester. The shade, the shadow, makes waiting for the ball much easier. I love your photos, sir.

I guess the trees are seeking the sun's longest duration which is in the center. It is interesting how everyone is waiting very still on the player with the ball.

Lovely shot Daniel. Great tones & I like your light touch with the reds.

That canopy of tress makes for a beautiful setting for a picture and you did it well.

Your warm tones lend well to the hot summer day theme here Daniel. I see everyone else was also impressed by these wonderful threes leaning in over the street. Very nicely done.

I love the three themes and repitition that emerge from the clutter: the trees and the evenly spaced figures against the background of old building facades. Beautiful sepia tones enhance the atmosphere.

Thanks for the comments. There are one high school at any side of this road, and my 14 years old daughter is a student from one of them. This street is a mess on winter: many cars, buses, students in a hurry...But very different scene on summertime, as can be seen in this shot.

The characters have placed themselves perfectly into your scene. I am noticing the inward tilt... it's kind of intriguing.
I like your colorwork too.

This is a great seeing picy with one blurred in motion & the one that doesn't get the ball much with a great spacing between them. The trees look terrific too, are they just growing away from the buildings or are they trained to look this good?

Daniel another great capture, well thought out as usual. The blurr fom the one player just adding to the scene. Wonderful trees framing the pic.
