Thank you all for the kind comments. Jerry, I like the V of sky at the top but was actually thinking of cropping off the sunny area at the bottom of the image. Or maybe just a part of it...seems distracting somehow. Any opinions?

Great pattern of light and shadow here, Maryanne. Looks like something Ansel Adams might have taken - except he might not have included the sky part. As a matter of fact, it might make a stronger image without the sky part. Just a suggestion, mind you... and just my personal opinion...

This is lovely with all of the straight trunks/shadows & the track snaking through.

It was nice of them to wear down a nice path for your leading line ... definitely draws you in. B&W a nice choice here.
