Superb! Blur... grain... b&w... what more could a guy want? ;)
Excellent work!

Love that pelting rain, and the conversion and graininess seem very fitting here too- nicely done.

This could easily have been seen in some old movie. Great contrast.

I glance across differently than most. In fact, I instinctively look away from bright light ... being from Arizona and living in Texas 30 years. So, my first thought was why in the world isn't she angling the umbrella into the wind more. Next I think that it is insane to be on a cell phone right now ... Oh, they are statues. Then ... wow is the ice starting to pile up ... we should be watching our step. Is it cold in here. Is that a stoplight on the left. Finally ... Hey! How in the world do we not have rain drops on our lens. The fact that I spent 10 - 15 seconds going through these steps means I like it ... you got my attention.

I love umbrellas. I like the ideas here and the unusual setting and point of view. I like the weather too, streaking across the image. My first thought was that it was a statue of Lenin, in Russia, that had survived the ending of the USSR. I like the splashes of light too.
