The Japanese Maple is about 5 feet from the window and the Neighbor's Roof Corner is about 30 feet. I'm always amazed at how these resolve on the frosted glass without a lens. It only happens at a specific sun angle and then it defocuses.

This is really excellent John, one of your most artistic I would say, your eye is tuning in that's for sure. Great work mate.

Intriguing shot John!. I like the soft shadows framed in the window.

Thanks all. JP, I was going to crop it because I didn't want anyone to see what sits in the shower all day. But I saw the nice glint from the top of the glass and the glass door edge and left it. When I closed the file and saw the thumbnail I saw what you see ... a nice shadow box to put the shadow in.

Very interesting shot. Mystery & good light.

I just realized this can't be the tree next to the house because it isn't tall enough to go past the neighbor's roof line. Mystery solved. This tree is the oak tree in his front yard about 50 feet away and from the angle about 25 feet up. Infinity focus.

Yes, we converted our tub area into a big shower a couple of years ago. I love it ... it even has a seat in it ... you are looking through free standing glass. Now that I'm retired, we won't be able to do this kind of thing again.
