Just a sidenote: first I thought of the title "Duo Tones", but finally remembered "Two Tones" a record label in the early 80's of some of my favourite Ska bands at that time - The Beat, Bad Manners, The Specials, Selecter. :-)

Amazing Shot. We can see in the image that the motion of objects increases according to their speed to move. All objects reflect any particular sound. Excelent job.

Hi all, thank for your words. Shot is taken in the morning (darn, I always forget to switch the clock back from daylight savings). Maybe the tone of th epurple is too strong, but it suits the message. BTW, no montage here!
Chris, my hand is not suited to make 1/6 a crisp shot. I had my camera placed on the saddle of my bike, then using self timer. The unique viewer of the R1 really is perfect for this approach (and I do it often this way). Had to do a couple of tries to get the people right into the frame.

Impressive. You have really caught sounds here.

Many sounds come from this image. Looks like you are on a roll :-). Great shot.

Excellent shot - it's like reading the Times and listening to Bach at the same time.

How in the world do you get a shot like this? Awesome!

Quite the moody scene, man, totally gives me a melancholic vibe! I agree with the previous comments as well, as usual this is excellent work, Frank!

As others mentioned, this is really two pictures in one. Love the upper part and it adds to the one beneath it. Good work, mate.

Nifty Franky. Good traffic blur conveys a wooosh that contrasts well with the scene underneath.

A tale of two images here. The color tone of the blue/purple throws me a bit but otherwise it's a fine image.

I like your PPing very much. The colours blend nicely, kudos for stable hands if this is handheld too! 1/6s was just perfect to capture the motion and sounds of the cars and the bike. I can easily imagine the biker whooshing by you thinking "Annoying photographer, get out of the way..." but he made the picture really :)
