thanks Helen.

Wow, incredibly creative capture! I like the way the blur sort of progresses to the left. Well done, Penny!

Jill - thanks for the comment.
Franky - You're probably right, I did it wrong again. But the fun part is looking back and seeing what I could have done differently (or will - for next time!)
John - make a YouTube video (if you never have, it's actually an exercise that everyone should try once in their lifetime).

Penny, I think you did something wrong with the shot - everybody loves it! Me too! Concept, framing and pp is excellent!

I know New York is busy, and noisy, but I really think you have to come to China for cacaphonic situations. I wish I could send you a sound bite from the market outside my window. This image is full of energy and beautiful in an original, (to me), way. Quite memorable.

I too prefer this one...the motion blur is really great...well done Penny.

This is my favourite of your 2 blurry picks - love them both. I like the way one can pick out clear parts of the pic in the midst of the chaos.

You have the eye, good work. I can feel the energy.

At least it's organised chos a. Excellent shot & great for the topic. I knew you wouldn't be out of ideas for long.

thanks for the comments. I realize this isn't going to be everybody's taste but I do think it's one way to depict the chaos on the NYC streets.

P.S. I love it.

How satisfying it is to see a real piece of art. This is absolutely going to provoke a love it or hate it response as true artwork should. Remember me when you're famous.

This is awesome, NYC wonderfully portrayed.

You are a very educated woman Penny. I don't know how common of a word "cacophony" is in America, but I doubt many people know what it means. I must admit it's the first time i've come across it in English.

Apart from the biker looking like a zombie, I really like the high contrast and motion of this picture. You can see, feel and hear the commotion. The zoom-while-shooting trick works wonders here. Very nice. Very nice!
